Always Creating™ Blog is currently looking for a part time editorial assistant to help with day-to-day operations of the blog and other online publishing websites. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning about fashion, lifestyle, social media, marketing, public relations, and digital media. I am expanding my lifestyle brand and looking for someone to work with me to engage brands on social media, etc.
Must be extremely knowledgeable and comfortable with social media including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube as well as publishing site, WordPress or Blogger.
This is a virtual and unpaid position with a small monthly stipend. Yet, you will gain valuable writing and social media marketing experience. Plus, you will have plenty of online content to build your portfolio. Note: DC and Northern Virginia residents strongly encouraged to apply, but location not required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Write first drafts of the blog posts
-Update site and editorial calendar regularly
-Proof/read documents and articles
-Assist with the research of products and brands
-Photograph and edit all original images
-Manage social media accounts with daily updates-
Write product reviews
-Experience with list management
-Self starter with excellent writing skills
-Passionate about fashion, beauty, health, fitness, lifestyle, and pop culture
-Knowledge of WordPress, Photoshop and PowerPoint
-Strong social media skills including Facebook, Instagram, twitter and Pinterest
-Digital and social media-savvy
-Must be detail-oriented & organized
-Digital photography skills a plus
