Lately I’ve been posting infrequently due to my life being so overwhelmingly busy and I’m not mad about it. Am I the only mama who desperately needed this long weekend to just relax with the kids and hubby? I guarantee if there was a line I was first in line! Lol… This weekend was a much-needed time away to our second home away from home: the beach! We spent the long weekend together sunbathing on the beach then took advantage of the long Memorial Day weekend / Monday holiday to spend some quality r&r together.
Before moving forward, I just want to share again:
Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸 // My family and I are forever indebted to our service men and women, past and present for their commitment and sacrifice in defense of our greatest privilege: FREEDOM. It isn’t free and we know that so #thankyou ✨💕
Here are some photos from our day at the beach and amusement park. I will share video of me on a roller coaster ride with my Little A on my IGTV. You guys, it’s seriously a thing to watch, lol! I swear I almost shit my pants.
After about four hours on the beach, we went to the amusement park for some more fun, because my daughter never forgets and she was demanding to go play, lol! After a few games, we went on a roller coaster ride and let me tell ya, it was not pretty! Lol!
This was my second time ever on a roller coaster (first was last summer when my daughter made me conquer my fear it and it was such an awesome feeling to be able to face my fears then).
Side note: this is really how my life with my little girl has been for almost eight years now—she pushes me to face my fears. I’m so impressed by her fearlessness and her can-do attitude. I’m in such awe of her beautiful soul, she just doesn’t let anything hold her back. Adults could learn so much from little kids sometimes; they’re just so wise beyond their years and have the courage to do things we could only dream of doing. #kidsarefierce
I hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend celebrating with family and friends this precious freedom that so many have had to pay a hefty price for us to be able to enjoy. I’m so grateful to call America home.
Happy new week, guys! // See ya on the gram!
